Just a little bit about myself. Let’s start with the basics; my name is Luke Frost, I currently in my second year of university. I am studying Computer Science at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK. As I’m sure you have already or will soon realise that my passion is in computing and technology. This is what I most enjoy reading, writing and talking about. Some of my other interests are in photography, sports and socialising. I am a proud Christian, and wouldn’t be able to continue without the help that He gives me each day.
There are a lot of sports that I am into, the main one being football. Being a season ticket holder at the mighty Norwich City F.C. I have been through the highs and lows of any football supporter. With my beloved Canaries just 2 years ago falling further down the table towards League 1, to now fighting it out in one of the best league’s in the world, the Barclays Premier League.
Rugby union in my opinion is one of the best sports out there. For all round excitement and true sportsmanship. Gloucester R.F.C are my team, who I have been to see on a number of occasions. Most years, myself and my family will go to the Guinness (Now Aviva) Premiership final at Twickenham, which is always a really good day out.
Possibly my favourite sport of all, and very surprisingly for some maybe, is cricket. A true gentleman’s game, played in a great manner. I will often go and watch Essex C.C.C at Chelmsford, and have seen the likes of India, West Indies and New Zealand all play. I have had two great privileges in cricket. Firstly seeing, in my opinion, the all-time great batman Sachin Tendulkar reach get a century in a warm-up match against Essex. The second was witnessing possibly the best day of cricket England have ever had in their history. It was Sunday 26th December – The boxing day test, MCG, 2010/11 Ashes Series. Australia bowled out for a measly 98. With Andrew Strauss and Alistair Cook putting in an Ashes winning performance reaching 158 for no wicket by the end of play. A day that will live with me forever.
Apart from sport, my family and group of friends are extremely important to me. After all what would you do without the support of love ones? They help you get through each week, do things you thought you couldn’t and just enjoy life to the full – These are true friends, some worthy of family status.
Finally, Twitter is a brilliant tool of which I use regularly. So please follow or contact me in that way.
